The World Center for Birds of Prey is the heartbeat of The Peregrine Fund’s education program. Located in Boise, Idaho, one of the most densely populated raptor regions in the world, it is an international destination for 50,000+ people a year. Visitors experience raptors up close and personally through live, daily raptor demonstrations and interactions with staff, volunteers, and exhibits that create a deeper understanding of these incredible birds and our role in conserving them for future generations.

The Center provides free school tours for more than 5,000 students annually engaging students in STEM learning that focuses on the scientific method through the lens of The Peregrine Fund’s global conservation projects.

The FUNDSY Charity Golf Tournament and Triple Crown special event will kickstart capital improvement for the Global Raptor Education Center. Upon completion, the Education Center will expand its student visit capabilities from 5,000 annually to over 10,000 student visits annually.

Camp Rainbow Gold

There’s a beautiful place in the heart of Idaho and it is called Camp Rainbow Gold. It’s a celebration of life! It’s a place where cancer does not rule, but being a child does. It’s a place where children have an inner light, an incredible viewpoint of life and wisdom beyond their years. It’s an oncology camp, a sibling camp, and a family camp. It’s a teen support group, a winter retreat, and a college scholarship program.

As FUNDSY’s 2016 beneficiary, Camp Rainbow received funding for a new Medical Shack. This equipment is extremely important for the well-being of children diagnosed with cancer in a camp setting.
