Zach Forster is the Vice President of Government Affairs for the GoWest Credit Union Association, where he leads advocacy efforts for credit unions across Idaho and the broader GoWest region. With more than a decade of experience in state and federal public policy, he has held senior roles with the Idaho Bankers Association, the Office of Governor Brad Little, and the United States Senate, advising on issues ranging from financial services and economic development to national security and small business policy. He brings deep expertise in legislative strategy, coalition building, political fundraising, and leadership development. Zach holds an MBA from the University of Denver and earned his bachelor’s degree from Boise State University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys on the golf course and ski hill.
